It was gorgeous atypical Seattle weather the whole time we were there. Sunny in the 70s early 80s and slight breeze. Ahhhh. It was heavenly

On Monday morning we drove down to Mt. Ranier and hiked the skyline trail. It was a 1700 foot elevation change. We hiked through snow in shorts and tennis shoes! It was about a 4 hour hike and the views were breath taking!

The "excuse" for going to Seattle was one of the guys Josh works with out there was getting married so we made a vacation out of it. This was at the wedding on Saturday night. It was at the guy's house. His daughter was getting married

This is Alki Beach on Seattle's west side. It was a really neat beach city. We did not get in the water....it was a tad cold
We had a great time on our vacation. We ate and ate and ate. And the food was delicious. We went to a Mariners game on Sunday afternoon which was a lot of fun even though they got spanked by the White Sox.So it's only been 8 1/2 months since the last time I blogged. Lots has happened but that will be a post for another day :-)
Happy Labor Day! We are enjoying our rainy day off!
