Fun times in Beaufort

This picture is kind of blurry because I took it while I was riding and it was kind of bumpy since we were off road.
Melanie riding down one of the paths at Pinckney State Park near Hilton Head, SC
It was absolutelty beautiful
You had to run through this quicksand type stuff to get to this tree
Melanie & Me
We didn't see a lot of wildlife at this wildlife refuge/state park
Melanie and the water
Not sure what I was thinking with this pose....am I a linebacker?
The house Tom is building. It is really neat to see, but not really my type of house
Climbing the fallen trees, Maddux followed me up this one and then just jumped off.
We went to the beach and walked forever. It was a gorgeous day and Maddux had so much fun chasing his ball and playing in the water.
Melanie
This looked like Maddux's nuts when we first saw it but it kept morphing into weird looking shapes....not sure what it was.

Me, Melanie & Tom at Hemingways. We did not plan wearing the same shades of clothing
Thumbs up to Chrissi
Waiting my turn for darts
Thumbs up to the guy teaching Melanie some new ways to throw darts
They are pretty good at it!
Me, not so much
Gotta follow through...
Melanie about to get a bulls eye
He won both games we played
Tuesday, Josh left for Las Vegas for some conference with his uncle so I decided to head to Beaufort, SC to visit his parents before they moved back up here. I had a great time! We ate some great seafood, went to the beach, threw darts at Hemingways, walked downtown, took Maddux on a run where he pooped on the sidewalk right downtown, rode bikes at a neat state park, worked out and ate some more. It was a great visit! I came back on Friday and went over to my parents house b/c my sister and the kids came into town for the long weekend. It was so good to see them. I didn't take any pictures though. Daddy and I shopped most of the day on Saturday for him some dress clothes. And then Sara and I worked on sowing me an apron. She has become quite the seamstress since getting her sowing machine at Christmas. I think she has made Sydney about 25 outfits, the boys some pj pants and some aprons. I'll be posting pictures of the aprons soon. I know you all will want them.

That's fun that you went out there! I'm sure Melanie and Tom enjoyed having you there!
