A HUGE Thank YoU!!!

A lot of you probably think that you have a great Mom, but I want to let you know that I have the most incredible, selfless Mom in the world. She finished up school on Thursday then came to my house on Wednesday and spent the rest of the week and weekend with me. She had called a couple of weeks ago, to see if I needed/wanted her to do some deep cleaning of my house....of course I said sure. She cleaned my house meticulously top to bottom, every room. It is sparkling and it was such a huge help to me. Josh said he could he even see how clean our room was in the dark. He asked me why I didn't get Mom's cleaning gene :-) I guess it skips a generation. She likes to clean and organzie, me I like to organize....but I'm no where near as good as she is. She has always been the kind of person that sees something that needs to be done and does it, no complaining just doing. She is such a huge blessing to me and Josh. I just wanted to give her a shout out that I SOOOOOO MUCH appreciate you coming over and cleaning and visiting with me. Also for letting me cut your circulation off 20 times so I could get your blood pressure, she was my test patient :-) I LOVE YOU!! Thank you so much!!!!!! Daddy came over on Saturday, and bought Mom and I dinner on Saturday night, so thanks for that!! Love you too!!

Mary Jo, you are the best!!
That's funny about the 'cleanliness gene skipping a generation' because my dad asked me how I learned to clean so thoroughly when my mom doesn't! (that actually sounds mean, but you know my dad!)
I know that there are MANY more important things in life but Im always amazed at how much more calm I feel when my house is clean.

Thanks for writing that blog, Summer. Your mom is one of the most giving people I have ever met.

Ditto to Rosemary. You are so blessed Summer to have her. My mother was a lot like that. She would come and clean my house and cook and straighten all my drawers. I loved it.
