Random thoughts during a boring class....

So I'm in Research class and am totally bored out of my mind. I should be studying US History but I am so sick of looking at the clep notes that I can't do it anymore. I am taking the Clep exam b/c GA public schools have this stupid rule that even if you already have a college degree you have to take US History and American Government. Really people. Ugh! I am trying to exempt the US History class by taking a test. I haven't looked at this stuff since high school so it is really rusty and really boring. Maybe I should have started looking over it before today, since my test is tomorrow. Oh well. Say a little prayer for me tomorrow at 11.

Shout out to Chrissi, she suggested after my complaining about the horrible chocolate molten cake from Chili's that I write something on their website. She was probably joking when she wrote it, but I went on and wrote this whole paragraph on my experience. I'm sure they thought I was a little crazy....but Josh came in yesterday and handed me a letter from Chili's apologizing for my bad experience and giving me a $20 gift card to come back on them....So that's like 4 chocolate molten cakes, great for my figure.

I have 1 more week of mental health clinical and I cannot wait for it to be over. I have been at a Ready for Work program, which is a residential drug/alcohol addiction program for drug addicted mom's. Every week, I go and listen to these women talk about how they used drugs/drank all throughout their pregnancies. Most of them used every day. And of course they have multiple kids and they get pregnant no problem. And a couple of them even said to me "I did drugs every day hoping I'd have a miscarriage." It took every fiber of my being to not punch them in the face. What is wrong with this picture? Why does it work like this or for me not work at all?

I'm heading down to Valdosta tomorrow and cannot WAIT to see my niece and nephews, sister/bro-in-law and friends!! It has been way to long since I saw the loves of life, Bryce, Landon, Parker and Sydney. And since Sara hardly ever updates her blog it feels even longer...I absolutely can not believe that Bryce is turning 9 on Saturday. Really 9. Wow, I'm getting old.

I have 2 tests next week, then heading down to Destin next Friday after OB clinical for Spring Break. So excited!!! Me, Leslie & Cara and Charis are doing the Seaside 1/2 Marathon....haven't really trained as much as I should but it should be fun!
