On Monday night Caroline and I stayed in Dallas because we had to drop Courtney and Lauryn off for their flight monday night and we did not want to drive 3 hours back to Norman. My flight left Tuesday late afternoon.
After dropping them at the airport, we found a VERY yummy bbq place. Ahhhh this is making me hungry! Tuesday we did some shopping b/c it rained most of the day.
On Sunday afternoon, while Blake's golf team was practicing Caroline, Lauryn and I went out and hit a few balls. Very few in Caroline's case :-)
Lauryn showing Caroline the proper form. Caroline thought her swing looked REALLY good, however she only connected with the ball about 5 times out of 50.
Our grill master. The people next to us were making and frying their own corn dogs.....made with bratwurst. I really wanted to try one.
I realized, that I kind of prefer tailgating to being in the stadium during the actual game. I like the idea of it, but I get bored after a while. I know that is horrible.
They shut down the downtown area and set up booth and vendors. Then when the game starts all the stuff closes down and I guess they all go to the game.
Courtney was craving red meat when we got off the plane so we stopped at Saltgrass and had steak. They served her sweet tea in a mason jar!
Caroline had NO idea that Lauryn and Courtney were coming. She knew I was but it was awesome to surprise her!
Lauryn and CourtneyLabor Day weekend, we went to visit Caroline and Blake. We had a wonderful time. Blake said next time we came to visit he was going to plan himself a trip....he said it is like yaya sisterhood on crack. The theme of the trip was "I'm done with crazy." One funny thing that happened on the trip was we had to make an emergency appointment with the hairstylist. One night a few weeks ago, Caroline lost her mind and decided it would be a good idea to dye her really dark brown hair with a $2 dye kit from Big Lots. Yep you read that right. It turned out orange, and it was not pretty. Being the true friends we are, we broke the news to her at dinner on Friday night, and Lauryn called her hair stylist and left a message regarding the hair emergency. We were able to get it fixed Saturday before the game.

I was wondering who was standing next to you at the race...I didn't believe it was her! I like her better as a brunette! :)
I don't mean that comment to be rude, just that she has beautiful brown hair...that make more sense?
I agree. Caroline hair is so beautiful the natural color. I really enjoyed all the pictures. Looks like you girls had a wonderful time. Oklahoma is one of my favorite teams, right after Florida and LSU.
Cute Cute Cute!
