Sarah's Baby Bump
Sarah & IFriday night Josh and I had a date night for the first time in forever. We tried out a new place in Woodstock, it was a beautiful night but we won't be re-visiting the restaurant. We watched a movie, The Brave One with Jodie Foster which was pretty dark; then called it a night. Saturday morning I got to the park around 6:45 to run, I wanted to run six but only had time to do 4.5 before heading to LA Fitness to shower, and get to the tennis courts by 9:00. Our neighborhood mixed Alta team was playing in the City Finals so I went to cheer them on. We WON, by the way!!! I had to leave around 10:40 to head to a baby shower for a good friend from college, Sarah Van Dyke. It was great to see her, and she too had lots of trouble getting pregnant so it was neat to get to celebrate with her. I only stayed for an hour before heading south to meet Mom for that lovely drive to Valdosta. We got to Valdosta around 4:30 and played with the kids in the pool for a while before eating a yummy dinner made by Ryan. After dinner we went to the playground, then did a impromptu scavenger hunt around Dasher. I left around 9:30 for Tessa's where I was spending the night. I had so much fun catching up with her and seeing Alex. She made me laugh! She is a hoot, at one point she took a drink of my water and she spilt a little on her shirt, then she decided to pour the whole thing on the floor/herself and saying I spilt it. Sunday, Tessa and I get up and run then get ready for church. I meet Mom and the Jacksons at Central and get to see TONS of people I hadn't seen in a long time. After church we meet back up with Tessa, Richard, Alex, Mrs. Beth, Elizabeth, Tyler, Noah, Ally and Mrs. Kathy, Matt, his little girl Karli and Mom, Me, Sara, Ryan and the kids. It was a little crazy with that big of a group, but it was fun to visit. After lunch, Mom, Sara and I head to Dasher for Kristin's baby shower. We saw a bunch more people there, and had some good laughs. I got back home around 9:00 pm, and let me tell you that drive back is HORRID! It was a fun weekend, and it was great to see all the kiddos!
