Grove Park Inn

Sunday, was our 6 year anniversary. We were able to take a mini vacation to the Grove Park Inn, in Asheville, NC compliments of my parents (that's what they got us for Christmas!) We left Saturday morning, stopped at Starbucks for coffee on our way out of town and got to Asheville around 12:10. We met Patrick and Chesed for lunch at the Apollo Flame, a little greek restaurant. It was yummy! We checked in around 2:00 and after getting to our room we took a nap for 2.5 hours. It was AWESOME! I never nap so it was much needed. We went downtown that night and walked around to different places for appetizers, dinner and dessert. It was so much fun to just wander around, however it was REALLY cold and windy! After we got back to the Inn, we went down to a dueling piano bar and it was very entertaining. Sunday, we woke up to rain, it pretty much rained all day. We went to the gym, and Josh did the workout that Cara and I have been doing. It is pretty intense, and he almost threw up several times. After that, we bought day passes to the incredible spa. We very much enjoyed it! It was so relaxing and I really want to go back to when we have lots of money. That afternoon we went to watch the NFL games and we ate some Mexican food, then came back and went back to the spa for another couple of hours. Monday morning we ran around the golf course, man was it hilly! Whew, I was glad when we were done! It was a wonderful weekend....but unfortunately I forgot my camera. I was so bummed!

UPDATE on MADDUX: So far he seems to be fine (knock on wood)....he hasn't had anymore episodes that we have seen. Thanks for all your prayers and support!!
