Please pray for my puppy.....he had another seizure last night. He hadn't had any (that we know of) since Labor Day 1.5 years ago in Destin. We thought it had to do with changing barometric pressure, but last night I woke up at 2:00 am, and he was laying on my legs twitching and Josh said I think he's having a seizure. He didn't want to turn on the lamp b/c he didn't know how it would affect him. It lasted for about 2 mins, the longest 2 mins of my life....or at least since the last time he had one. He whimpered, twitched, got really stiff and lost control of his bladder and bowels. It was awful. I was crying and talking to him and petting him....I didn't want him to fall off the bed, and last time he had this the vet said don't hold him down or restrict his movement b/c that could cause injury. I stayed awake for the next couple of hours and rested very little the rest of the night making sure he didn't have another one. He didn't. But he would not get back on the bed, I think he thought he was in trouble b/c he messed the bed. Josh worked from home today, and he hasn't had any more today. So just keep him in your prayers if you remember.

oh no! not at all what I was expecting when I checked your blog tonight. I know that must be so scary & sad. So sorry. I was actually thinking about that the other day. I remember how scared we all were when it happened the first time. Did you take him on any long runs or anything? I will definitely keep him in my prayers.

I know that is scary. I hope he is ok and that this doesn't happen more. Keep us posted on how he's doing.

Oh! I'm so sorry! I wish they could figure this out!!
That is such sad news! Dogs are just like part of the family! We will be praying that things get better. Hopefully he had a better day today. Thinking of you!! We do need to come see you at Pure....I have not had Pure in over a year...that is WAY TOO long!! What days do you work?
Poor Maddux. I am so sorry he had to go through that. You and Josh, too. Praying for all three of you.
Can you give us an update on Maddux?!?!?! Is he doing better????
