ahhh spring break i've missed you.

Cara & Leslie at Pompano Joes. We ate here for lunch on Monday. The food was okay, the view was gorgeous (right on the beach) minus the guys in speedos throwing the football (GROSS).
Cara & Leslie at Harbor Docks. We celebrated finishing the half marathon with some DELICIOUS sushi at Harbor Docks. Of course the service sucked as always, but they just have the best sushi.

Wow, this was really early
And lots of people
Charis found the time with 6 kids, and training to make these tutus for us. We put the finishing touches on them Saturday night and made the tshirts.
The work space was a little crazy

Friday after our last clinical in OB, Cara, Leslie, Maddux and I headed down to Florida for spring break. We had an uneventful trip and arrived at Ma's around 9. She wasn't feeling to well so she was in the bed. Saturday we headed to San Destin to grab lunch at Dewey Destin's then pick up our race packets at the expo. It was a beautiful day, but still a bit chilly. I'm not a big fan of spring break being this early but no one really asked me. Saturday night we had a big pasta dinner at Auntie's and celebrated Uncle Chris's 65th birthday. Sunday was race day, it was a gorgeous day. We had an fun race and then enjoyed the free bbq and listened to the bands play. That night we indulged in sushi. Yum! Monday we did some shopping and ate some more seafood. Ma made mexican food for dinner which was delicious. Tuesday, Ma took us to the gym and we had a lazy day of reading. We also went for a short run. Ma & Papa took us to their favorite chinese place Hong Kong for the buffet. Cara had to go back that morning to hang out with her family so it was just me and Leslie. We had coffee every morning we stayed at Ma and Papa's with Aunt Sarah. She knows how to make a good cup of coffee. Wednesday morning we went to the gym with Ma & Papa then headed to Destin to the beach. Then Auntie, Chara, Leslie and I went to see The Blind Side (SO GOOD), and had some Thai food for dinner. Thursday morning we headed back home because I was going to be good and get 1 of my research papers done this weekend....yea that didn't happen. Oh well.

I SO wish I would have ran this year so I could have worn one of those tutus! I love the slogan. Chesed is so clever!! Looks like ya'll had warmer weather this year too. No snow, so that's good. ....awww the memories.
