So this past weekend was our 5th annual camping trip for my friend, Courtney's birthday. We went to Helen, GA and had an absolutely fabulous time! Josh and I got up there early Friday morning and it was raining, but it stopped raining around 12 and turned out to be a gorgeous day. There were 23 people there mostly my best girlfriends from college and their significant others. I enjoy this trip so much because it signifies the beginning of fall, and I get to enjoy visiting with my girlies I don't see as much anymore. When we were packing up on Sunday morning Maddux cut his paw on some broken glass that was everywhere around the campsite.(not from us) It was a pretty nasty cut and it has been bleeding off and on for the past 2 days. I took him to the vet this morning and they just bandaged it and said to keep it dry and restrict his activity. ALL of which we were already doing, but I needed to pay $75 for this.
And now it is raining here. Thank the Lord! We definitely need it. We are taking dinner to Ashley and Matthew tonight. They came home from the hospital last Wednesday night and are doing well. I think Ashley is actually doing to much, she needs to take it easy!! (Ashley, take my advice).

Tell Ashley not to do too much. It is the only time in your life you can get away with it.
