Friday night we met up with our friends Jack & Katie for dinner in Buford, GA. It took forever to get there with all the Atlanta traffic. They have a 3 year old little boy and are pregnant again and due in May! We are so excited. We love getting to visit with them. We then went over to my parents to spend the night.
Sydney's first birthday party and Ryan's birthday was on Saturday morning. We had a yummy brunch of grits casserole and monkey bread (my favorite). Sydney opened all her gifts and had a great time playing with all the stuff that she got. The boys had fun playing with her toys as well. She liked eating her cake that Sara made. It was so cute.
Saturday night we had my boss's annual pig roast. Goose (my boss) roasts a huge pig on a smoker. Karen (his wife) makes all the sides potato salad, rolls, baked beans, roasted corn, new potatoes and shoo-fly pie. The food was absolutely delicious.
Sunday morning we wake up early to go to Josh's parents house to take the family Christmas picture. I think we got some good ones. We visit with his family for a while then I go to a fall festival at Sara & Ryan's church. The pictures above are of the pig roast
