Sorry it has been a while since my last post. I don't really have an exciting life except on the weekends. Last Thursday after work we picked up Josh's grandparents and headed down to Beaufort, SC to visit with Josh's parents. We got in around 11:00 and got to visit some that night. Josh's dad is building a really neat house in a very exclusive part of SC near Beaufort so Friday morning we drove out there to see it. This house is so weird. It is like all one room and the bedroom opens/overlooks the kitchen/living room. It is all glass windows and steel. Very strange. Melanie, Grandma and I did some antique shopping and I found some cute soup mugs w/ lids. They were having a Shrimp Festival in downtown Beaufort so we walked around there on Friday night and Saturday and ate a lot of shrimp. I think we had shrimp 4 out of 6 meals. It was yummy!
While walking around the craft part of the shrimp festival, Melanie and I started talking about starting a monogramming business. I am currently doing a lot of research on it and will probably buy a machine in the next few weeks. I am really excited about this business venture. At first it would be at of my house, but we will see where it goes from there. We had a great time visiting with Josh's parents!
On the way home Sunday, we met Josh's brother Andrew, his wife Tonya and their kids AJ and Natalie in Dublin for lunch. It was great to see them.
We have a busy weekend planned with 2 birthday parties, a baby shower and Josh's 10 year high school reunion so next weeks post should be interesting.
