Christmas Tree Hunting

We really wanted to cut down our own tree, but it just didn't happen.

So I am a little late in getting a tree and decorating for Christmas this year (last year I put it up before Thanksgiving), but I finally got around to it yesterday. Katie, Jack and Jackson were supposed to come over and help (because it has kind of become a tradition) but Jackson got pink eye and they weren't able to. Because of this I wasn't really excited about getting everything out, it is a big job. However, I started pulling things out and was finally able to get in the mood. Luke really wanted to chop down the tree but Josh just wanted to go to pike and pick one up (b/c usually u chop trees are more expensive), however Caroline and never cut down her own Christmas tree so we decided to go. When we get there, Caroline and I go pick up a saw at the front and Caroline asked if we really cut it down ourselves? I said "No, we just get to carry around these saws for fun, Here's your sign." We find this Christmas tree farm but they only had leyland cypress that you could cut down and I really didn't want that kind of tree. They did have the douglas fir but they were already cut and they were $30 more expensive than Pike so....we left and went to Pike and got out tree. We spent a lot of time decorating it and finally got it finished. It looks AWESOME! Thanks so much Caroline for all the help.
