So it was a very busy weekend. I tried to cram all I could into this one weekend.
Saturday morning, Mom, Sara and I are supposed to do our annual holiday baking. So Mom, Daddy, Sara and all the kids arrive at the house around 7:30 AM to start cooking. A HUGE thanks to Luke and Daddy for watching the kiddos so we were able to bake. We made about 14 different baked goodies and made plates for neighbors and friends. It was a lot of fun. Thanks Mom and Sara for coming over, I know it wasn't easy with all the kids. Saturday night we had a Christmas party at Jack and Katie's. It was so much fun to visit with them and hang out with friends. We spent the night there and got up Sunday morning and had breakfast at Waffle House. Yummy! I even slept in for my standards :-) until 9:30.
Sunday afternoon, Caroline and I went to a wedding shower for my friend Lauryn who eloped. On the way down we decided to stop at Bed Bath and Beyond to get another present (we already had one) so we go in and it is really crowded and they don't have kiosks to print off the registry so you had to wait in line at customer service, so then they print off the wrong registry and we don't realize this until we get back to the dishes and start trying to find something. So then we have to walk back up to the front, stand in line, and print off the correct registry but they had NOTHING from her registry at this store. It was so frustrating!!! Then we almost get t-boned at a red light downtown b/c these 2 idiots run the red light. We finally make it to the shower and enjoy watching Lauryn open all her goodies. After the shower, Caroline drops me off at Marlow's where I meet Josh, Lindsey and James for dinner for James 30th Birthday. We had a fabulous experience. The food was absolutely delicious. I delivered some of my goodies last night to the neighbors. And I went to bed around 8:45 because I was exhausted. One more week of work, then a week off for Christmas, yeah! I think we have something every night this week so hopefully it will pass fast. I will be posting pictures from baking and the Christmas party.
Oh, and my friend Amy found out she is having a BOY!!!! We are so excited!
