Crazy, Busy Weekend!

Friday, Mom and Daddy came by and dropped little miss priss, Sydney off at our house for the weekend. We swam a little that afternoon with Uncle Luke and then came home and ate some supper before heading off to watch Josh play his first singles tennis match. He WON!! But it was REALLY hot so Sydney and I sweated a lot. Josh dropped me off on the way home at our tennis courts because our team was practicing a little before our alta match on Saturday. Saturday morning, I was up and at Walmart at 6:40, to get stuff for the Gernatt birthday party we were having at the house that afternoon. I got home made breakfast for Sydney and I, got her dressed, made a peanut butter pie and salsa, then got myself ready to head to our alta tennis match. I left around 10:00 for our alta match, and left Sydney playing with Uncle Luke. I play line 5 so we didn't get on the court until 11:45, and it was HOT. We ended up playing 3 sets, and lost which was a bummer. We didn't finish that match until 2:15, and Josh and I were scheduled to play our semi-final tournament match for League tennis at 2:00 at our courts. So I busted it back over to our courts to start playing immediately. And believe me it hadn't gotten any cooler. We WON that match 7-5, 6-4 so we will be playing in the finals sometime this week. YEAH! We didn't finish until 4:15, so I played a lot of tennis and I was tired, Josh had also run 15 miles that morning so it's a wonder that we could even move to the tennis ball. As soon as we finished, I ran up and got changed into my bathing suit and came back to the pool to join Sydney, Uncle Luke and Josh. Josh's family got there around 5:00 and we had a wonderful dinner and celebrated Josh, Andrew and Tom's birthday. Sydney enjoyed playing with AJ. He kept calling her Caroline. I crashed after everyone left. This morning we got up and headed over to Douglasville for Paxton's baptism. It was really neat to see, and Paxton was an angel in service. We went over to Amy's parents after the service and had some lunch then came home and napped. This weekend wore me out. I am about to meet Mom to drop Sydney off, then it is home to study. I will post pictures later.

When did you have time to take pictures!? I know Sidney had a good time bonding with her uncles and sweet aunt. We missed SK, but had fun with the brothers... & their dad.
