Weigh In - Half Way Point
Okay, so I didn't post last week after our weigh in but I had gained 1/2 lb (131.5) which wasn't too bad considering I had just gotten back from a 5 night camping trip where we had LOTS of good food. So Monday I started this new diet, I got the information from a friend of a friend that had trouble getting pregnant. She went to a holistic doctor, and he put her on supplements and this diet, and she was pregnant the next month. I can't tell you how many stories I've heard about "I did this (chiropractor, acupuncture, diet, supplements, etc) and got pregnant the next month." So I just figured I'd try it, can't hurt. Basically it GREATLY reduces your sugar intake especially for the first 2 weeks then you can gradually add things back in like fruit and dairy. So basically I have been eating meat and veggies since Monday. I have had some pretty bad cravings, but so far I haven't caved. I know when I can't have something, it makes me want it even more so we'll see. I have got to change my mindset from food has to be delicious every meal, to food is fuel. However, I am working out/running a lot and this morning I had ZERO energy when I was running so I think I'm going to have to change things up a little. Anywho, all that to say, we weighed in this morning and I was at 127. We have another month to go....

That is GREAT!!! Love you, MOM
Aw Man, I'm not going to be the skinny one anymore :) Good job. Still praying for that little miracle we all want for you!
I think you will win the prize. You did good not gaining at Deep Creek. You probably walked it all off. Keeping that weight down now that you are young will pay off in the long run. All the fat I've lost recently is now loose skin and wrinkles. Not a pretty sight. But I feel good. LOVE YOU ma
That kind of diet will kill harmful yeast overgrowth and the die-off symptoms will make you tired, among other things, for a while. I wish laundry would burn more calories. (Smile)
That's great, Sum! Keep it up!
Keep up the work Summer. I am praying for you and Josh. See you tomorrow.
