We also had a big salad with tomatoes, avocados, strawberries, shrimp and walnuts. Along with one of my favorite things evers Fried Green Tomatoes with goat cheese! It was delicious. We had this yummy meal on Saturday night because Ryan had to work on Sunday.
Maddux LOVED swimming in the Jackson's pool. I had to put him up b/c he would not just lay down and rest, he kept jumping in.
This is Kayden, she has obviously been photographed a lot, b/c she walked up to bat she saw I was taking a picture and she looked at me and smiled. It was so funny!
I love this face! She had just gotten hit in the shoulder with the ball. But she was brave and kept playing after crying a little and yelling "He hit me with the ball"
Those were the days...I was in Valdosta for Mother's Day weekend (and a few days after the weekend). I had such a good visit. We spent quite a bit of time at the ball park that I played at growing up. It was so weird to go back and be watching my friends/family kids play. I got down there Friday, we had some dinner and went for a bike ride to the park. I rode a bike and Maddux ran along beside me. I never thought I'd do that but it worked out pretty well except a couple times when he had to pee, and pulled me over. Saturday, I got up went for a run, then to the ball park to watch my friend Melissa's little girl play t-ball. That age is so funny to watch. After that game, I headed to another park to watch Bryce play soccer. His team won by a lot, and he scored several goals. Sara had a baby shower to go to after that, so Mom and I took the boys to the Jackson's to play in the pool. They have such a nice backyard. I love it! We enjoyed playing in the pool, especially Maddux. He thinks whenever anyone jumps in that they are drowning so he jumps in on top/beside them to rescue them (I've got to work with him on this) b/c 2 out of the 3 boys got their backs scratched by him. Ryan fixed a delicious dinner for our Mother's day celebration and the Jackson's also came over for dinner. I left after dinner for Tessa's graduation party at the Ragin Cajun. Sunday we went to church, then Mom left to come home and Sara and I took the boys to Wild Adventures, the water park. It was a lot of fun!!! Tuesday night Bryce, Landon and Parker all had baseball games, so we spent the night at the ball park. They all did really good! I headed back on Wednesday morning.
