This is Cassie, she is a 2 year old lab mix that I am fostering through an organization called Mostly Mutts. This allows them to rescue another dog from a kill shelter while we try to find her a forever home. I drop her off at Petsmart on Saturday's for pet adoptions. They pay for all her food, vet bills and provide a crate and leash. I just provide a home until she is adopted!
She and Maddux get along great. She has more energy than he does, if you can believe that but he is very patient with her. She was not house broken, but has done very well in the house. No accidents!

Awesome idea! I recommended the same thing for a friend of mine who said goodbye to her dog (he was very sick) about 2 months ago. I think it's great that Maddox has a friend with him all day.
