Today is Veteran's Day. I want to thank my Papa as well as all the men and women serving our country at home and abroad. I can't begin to imagine the sacrifice that families go through on a daily basis. I am so proud of my Papa. He served in World War II and was injured in the line of duty. He earned a purple heart. I remember when I was a kid asking him to tell us stories of when he was in the army, and asking him to show us his scar from the bullet that hit him. He is proud to be a veteran, and I just want to honor him today! I also want to pray for all the families of soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we could enjoy all the freedom that we do in the great United States of America! Meme's brother, Howard was killed in World War II and Adam McSween, one of my friends from high school was killed in Iraq earlier this year. We love you soldiers and appreciate what all you do to keep us safe.
