The Police Concert

Josh & I
Sting!!

James & Lindsey

Lindsey & I

Hello all! We had a good weekend. Friday night we picked up Josh's grandparents and drove them over to his parents for dinner. We got to visit with them and Ashley, Matthew and little Jr, who is getting rather chubby :-) Saturday I did some Christmas shopping and then we went downtown for dinner and the Police concert with some friends of ours from the neighborhood, Lindsey & James. We were celebrating my birthday and their anniversary. We went to eat at this place called Stats (like sport stats). Well we get there at 5:30 and they say it will be about 25 minutes to get a table. 1.5 hours later no table. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. They were SOOOOOO disorganized and we ended up not eating (we finally did get a couple of appetizers that we had to order from a person we flagged down on another floor). Apparently, they had just opened 4 days before and they should have been a little more prepared. They were severely understaffed! If they get their act together it will be a cool place to hang out and watch a game as they had several different levels including a rooftop area. The concert was great. We had pretty good seats, but they were behind the stage. So most of the time we were staring at Sting's butt. He is in pretty good shape for an old man! After that we met some of Josh's friends at a place called East Andrews. We didn't stay there to long but all and all it was a fun night. Sunday, I met two of my girlfriends Lauryn (the one who just secretly got married) and Courtney for lunch and then did some more christmas shopping. I have just a couple more people to buy for, and I will be done! I LOVE shopping for christmas, but Josh has put me on a budget so it is not as much fun :-) Oh well! Ryan (my brother-in-law) and I are leaving Tuesday after I get off work to go to Destin for Thanksgiving. Josh and Luke are coming Wednesday after Luke gets off work. My grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles and immediate family on my Mom's side have a house rented on the beach. It should be a lot of fun! It will be about 35 people all under 1 roof. I'll update on that later....not sure if we will have internet access at the beach house.
