So Saturday was our 3rd annual November birthday party with my girls and their significant others and other random friends. It was at Jenny & Brandon's house out in Loganville. Caroline, Luke, Josh and I carpooled it up around 6:30 Saturday night. We always spend the night b/c it is such a long drive. Everyone brings a dish and there was SOOOO much good food. I always eat so much on the side dishes I don't even bring a main course. I brought a new dish to try out on everyone. I think it was a hit b/c it was one of the first things gone. It was Easy Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip from my favorite Kraft food magazine. We had a great time and the next morning Jenny fixed a fabulous breakfast of french toast and hash brown casserole.
Sunday afternoon we went to see American Gangster with Seth and Luke. It was very long but very good. I love movies based on true stories. I would definitely give it a thumbs up! We had dinner at Chili's and it was disgusting and whatever happened to servers asking how your food is? I would have given him and earful but he didn't seem to care. I went to bed at 7:00 last night (8:00 b/c of the time change). I was exhausted from the late night Saturday.
Update on Papa: He came through his last surgery today. He had 2 stints put into his left artery and is doing well. Please continue to keep them in your prayers. We are headed up there this weekend to love on them.
