A Long but Fun Weekend

So I had class again on Friday and Saturday. I guess I am kind of getting used to my Saturday class, but it still does not make it anymore enjoyable. I have a test over 2 chapters in Chemistry on Friday and over 3 chapters in Anatomy on Saturday. Needless to say I will be studying all week. On a good note, I do have Monday off from work and I am pumped!!

So Saturday after my class (it got out early around 12:00) we leave for Athens the site of Lauryn & Ben's wedding reception. The girls who were up there early had a dance party and tried on several dresses trying to decide what to wear. (except for the decisive ones that only brought 1 thing b/c they knew that is what they were wearing). Me, well I brought 4 dresses and finally decided I would go for the comfortable shoes instead of the more comfortable dress. I have gained a few lbs over the holidays and I could not take a full breath. It was worth it though :-) Kind of....The food was good, the band was awesome and as always us girls had a great time dancing! We went out afterwards and made many good memories! We had a hotel downtown which was very convenient. It was weird being in a college town and going out when you were some of the oldest people there. (probably not, but that is what it felt like) I wore a turtleneck and some of these girls were in short skirts and halter tops, it was WAY to cold for me to wear that. All in all it was a wonderful weekend, but I was so tired yesterday that I went to be at 6:00 pm and didn't wake up til 7:00 this am.

On a different subject, please keep Josh's grandad (Grandaddy to us) in your prayers tomorrow. He is having surgery on his eyes. He has some macular holes in them that they are trying to heal. Pray that the surgery goes well, his sight is restored and that is recovery is not to hard (he has to sit in a special chair for like 2 weeks and not move much). I will update after I hear more.

I enjoyed the pictures. It was good to see everyone. You looked stunning in your choice of outfits.

I think that Mrs. Jackson had this same eye surgery. I am pryaing that he will do well like she did.
