This Christmas
He has grown a lot!

Today 3 years ago, Josh and I went looking for a puppy. We drove all the way to Newnan and say the cutest chocolate lab puppies. We didn't get one right away because we were going to look at basset hounds in Douglasville. We saw the basset hounds but decided we really wanted one of the chocolate labs, so Josh called the lady back, and we were only going to get one if she went down $50, but she wouldn't so we hung up......and then we decided we were just going to get one anyway.....so we picked the smallest boy (there were only 2). He was SOOOOO cute! And Josh named him Maddux. The first 3 nights he was home we had him in a crate downstairs and he barked and whine the WHOLE night....I was almost ready to give him back (I probably would have he hadn't been so cute in the morning :-) Then we moved the crate upstairs and he was fine. He has slept in our bedroom ever since. He was in the crate for the first year, then he gradually moved into the bed. He is a WONDERFUL dog (I know I am a wee bit biased) So, I have been thinking about getting another dog to keep Maddux company. I am working on convincing Josh :-) We will see!
