The Biggest Loser

So we have 3 people in our office (my boss, Bruce and his nephew, Ryan just started working with us in May after graduating from college). So Ryan is trying to get in shape, and they were talking about doing the Biggest Loser challenge at the YMCA. Well, I can't resist a challenge and I too have packed on the pounds the last year, so we decided to do a work one.

The rules: 1 point per week if you get in 6 days of cardio (doesn't have to be strenuous, but at least 30 minutes 6 days a week).
1 point per week if you get in 3 days of weight training
At the end, whoever has lost the most %weight wins. Oh, and we have a "weigh in" once a week every Wednesday.

It started June 4th and it will end August 4th.

These were the initial weights:
Bruce: 187
Ryan: 215
Summer:140 I had just eaten when we had our first weigh in :-)

Today was our first weigh in:
Bruce: 186.5
Ryan: 215
Summer: 133.5

Thought I would share to help keep me more accountable and motivated. Oh, and my goal weight by August 4th is 120-125. Any tips on good diets, fun exercise, etc. would be appreciated!

Yea! That is a great start! I have been on my work out plan for 30 days, 3 days each week. I have lost 41/2 pounds and 4 inches! Keep up the good work!

That is GREAT!! You know me I can't say enough about WW. I have worked out every day this week (of course today is only WED)but that is pretty good for me. Love you MOM

My advise on the weight lose is to do exactly as your Mom and the pounds will fall off. I know you will feel better with a few pounds off although I can't believe you weighed that much. You sure didn't look it. Is there a prize? Take Care and I LOVE YOU ma

You Go girl! At the Y down here, they have a class called "Body-Fit" and it is really very much fun! You might try that if you want to mix it up a bit! Looks like you got it going on so far though! Good luck!
