Thanksgiving - part 1

I didn't take many pictures at the Thanksgiving gathering but I had to get a picture of this. We were celebrating the November birthdays and so Josh baked this cake and iced it. (He had forgotten the cake a year before, luckily my Mom had made one for me!) After lunch and visiting for a while, we headed back to our house to get a quick nap before heading to the Grandma & Grandaddy's for Thanksgiving dinner. We had LOTS of good food there and it was fun getting to visit with them. We got home around 9:00 pm, and I went straight to bed after packing up my car for my trip to Grayton Beach on Friday morning at 5:00 am.

Thursday morning Luke, Josh and I got up at 4:15 AM to head down to volunteer for the Atlanta Thanksgiving Marathon and Half Marathon. Caroline, Josh and I had run this race 2 years ago and since we were going to be in town this year I decided to run it. We also decided to volunteer because you got a free LL Bean Weather Channel Fleece and gloves. Wouldn't you know it that when we got there, Luke and Josh got their fleece and gloves no problem, but the small fleeces had not come in so they would have to mail mine. Thankfully Josh had a extra jacket in his car or I would have frozen. I think this is the first race I have done by myself. I just turned on my ipod and people watched. The 2 hours actually passed pretty fast. After the race, we headed to LA Fitness so Josh could work out, and I could shower. Then it was off to Anne & Greg's (Josh's aunt & uncle) for Thanksgiving lunch.
