This was the neatest shower idea. I'm always looking for new ideas. Kim made all these birthday cards for baby Estella from year 1 to year 25 and each person got to write a message to her in them. I loved the idea! All the birthday cards

This is the second year that we have had a talent show during Thanksgiving break. Mom & Auntie did a FABULOUS choreographed routine to "Everybody Dance Now" It was HILAROUS!!! We all vote on the winner. This year Samuel interviewed everyone voting and Judah did the video. Mom & Auntie won for the second year in a row. All the kids did a great job with their talents too.

Ma's talent last year was reciting a bible verse from memory. Well she kind of forget it, so this year she didn't chance it....and she read a bible verse to all her grandkids like she used to.

Friday morning I was in the car at 5:00 am on my way down to Grayton Beach where all of my Mom's side of the family was. I made pretty good time despite the rain. The kids played in the heated pool for a while that morning. We had our thanksgiving lunch around 2:00, then just visited until it was time for the 2nd annual talent show. I came up with something last minute for the girl cousins to do. We had a fabulous time and laughed a LOT throughout the night. All the performances were stellar, and the voting was hilarous. Saturday we had a baby shower for my cousins Judah & Kimberly. They are excepting a baby girl, Estella Lee in January. She got lots of neat stuff. Patrick, Chesed and I did a little shopping at the outlets and then ate some dinner at the Red Bar. Several of the cousins joined us at the Red Bar and we hung out and listened to the musice before running back to the house in the rain. We played some Mexican dominos and then went to bed. Mom and I left fairly early on Sunday to get home. It was a very busy Thanksgiving but I was so glad to be able to see most everyone. I missed seeing Meme & Papa, but we will be seeing them at Christmas!
I've had A LOT of posts in the last 2 days so if you are bored, scroll down to November 20th and see what we've been doing. I was VERY behind on blogging!
