Maddux did SOOOO good!
LukeSo I woke up at 5:00 am this morning to drive Luke & Josh down into Atlanta for the ING Half Marathon. After dropping them off, Maddux and I met up with Mom & Daddy and we set up camp in the Virginia Highlands to cheer them on around the 8 mile mark. It was COLD!!!! They did soooooo good. Josh met his goal time, Russ did great, Luke hauled butt, Steve beat his goal FULL MARATHON time (26.2 miles) with a 3:10 finish. We got back home around 11:30 and I had to be at the tennis courts around 1:00. I didn't play until 3ish.....my first match ever. Yikes! We lost both sets 2-6; 2-6, which was kind of frustrating, but I felt okay about my performance. I still need to work on my long cross hits (I am sure there is a technical term but I don't know it....) Anywho, it was FUN! And I can't wait to play again, I am going to be practicing a lot!!! Any tips from you tennis greats would be appreciated!!!

you looked to cute...i played today and it wasn't a good day for tennis the wind and cold were brutal. so i am sure your next attempt will be more successful. i loved your tennis terminology too! we need to hang out sometime! i am not getting any new friends of my own, i am just going to steal amy's:)
